I wouldn't be an emerging writer if I wasn't first a reader. Books have been my best friends as long as I can remember. I try to read a few a week and when I can't, I feel out of sorts.
WRITER.
Three full manuscripts complete. Another 50% done. Three more with 10k-20k words. Short story stockpile from microfiction (100 words) to full short (10k words and under). Writing contests. Virtual writing sprints. Writing group review & critiques. Lifelong journaling. Years of website content writing. Small business marketing material creator. Writing is who I am.
